Urban Art was first founded in 2010 in Victoria, BC . However, Owner David Malton has been in the art business for 40 years as of 2020! Some victoria residents may recall the douglas st one stop poster shop "Poster City" brought to be in the fall of 1989. Through Dave's numerous connections and information he had gathered over 30 years of experience he turned the at one time poster shop into a business consisting of many components including custom printing and custom mounting. In 2012, Dave's eldest son Tommy joined the Urban Art team followed by his youngest son Davis in 2016. At one time each of them ran there own store in 3 of Victoria's shopping malls, showing that family businesses can thrive with community help!
